DESCRIPTION: Honeybaby Butternut squash is easy to grow and provides a wealth of essential nutrients, such as vitamins A and C. The plant is a low maintence and high yielding vine with a sturdy upright habit; can be trellised. You can expect 5-7 squash per plant that can weigh up to 3.1 kg (7 lbs.). Honeybaby Butternut squash, Winter squash should be allowed to ripen thoroughly in the field. Winter squash must be picked before your first frost and cured for 10 days or 2 weeks before storing. Curing hardens the outer skin, reduces high water content and improves eating quality.
