DESCRIPTION: Large, woolly silver-white catkins emerge along red-orange branches before foliage in early spring. Dark green pointy foliage has silver sheen on underside. Prefers full sun and medium-to-wet, well-drained soils. Tolerates some standing water and urban pollution.
